When one part of a project isn't right, make a new piece in the editor and swap it in. The rest of the project stays as it is, and only the new piece uses usage.
Change a picture or a clip
Open the project from Projects in the Studio.
Open Visuals. Change the brief if you want to, then press Generate.
Press Board to see the new piece when it lands.
On its card, press Put on the timeline.
Select the old one on the timeline and press Delete.
To get one more in the same style, press Another like this on its card.
Change a track
Open Music. Change the brief if you want to, then press Generate. You can also select a track on the timeline and press Another take like this.
Select the track you want to replace on the timeline and press Swap track.
On the Board, press Swap in on the new track. It keeps the old track's place, trim, volume and fades.
Your old pieces stay on the Board, so you can swap back at any time. Remove from Board clears one you don't want, and Undo reverses your last change.
Change the thumbnail
You choose the thumbnail when you publish.
Open All videos in your Library and press Publish on the video.
Under Channel & thumbnail, pick one of the project's pictures, or slide to a frame of the video.
We rebuild the video with the new thumbnail. You can publish as soon as that finishes.
Usage and limits
Each new piece uses usage, the same as the first one did. A piece that fails uses none.
If you don't have enough usage left, nothing starts and the editor says so, with a way to buy a usage pack or pick a plan.
Plus in Visuals is on the Creator plan and up.
Your exported video stays the same until you press Export again.
If a new piece fails or looks stuck, "A video didn't finish or looks stuck" has what to do.
