Everything Chillframe makes comes out of your one monthly pool, and each piece uses an amount that matches the work it takes. You don't pay per video, and your plan price stays the same however you use it.
What uses more
Motion: a motion clip uses more than a still image, and a longer clip uses more than a shorter one.
High image quality: a still at High quality uses more than one at Low or Medium.
Longer videos: a longer video needs more music tracks, and each track uses usage.
1440p and 4K exports: the motion clips are upscaled, which uses usage. The upscaled clips are kept, so exporting again at the same resolution is free.
What uses less, or nothing
A still image with music is the lightest kind of video.
Remaking one piece uses usage for that piece only. Make new music and you pay for the music, not the whole video again.
Exporting at 1080p is included with every video.
Editing the project, publishing, analytics, storage and downloads use none of it.
If something fails or you stop it
If a visual, a track or an export fails, its usage goes back to you.
If you stop while pieces are being made, the ones that hadn't started give their usage back. The ones that had already started finish, land on the project's Board and count.
If you stop an export, you get back the usage for any clips it hadn't finished upscaling.
Before anything starts
If something needs more than you have left, it won't start. The Studio or the editor says there isn't enough usage left, with a way to buy a usage pack or move up a plan.
See what's left
Open Settings → Usage. It shows how much of your monthly usage you've used, when it resets, and the dollars of extra usage in your packs.
When your monthly usage runs out, usage packs take over, as long as Extra usage is switched on at Settings → Plan & billing. Buy extra usage with usage packs has the details, and How usage works covers the monthly pool on each plan.
If something doesn't add up, email [email protected] and a person will read it.
