You can cancel yourself at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Open Settings → Plan & billing and choose Cancel plan.
On Before you go, pick the reason that fits and choose Continue. Your answer decides what we build next.
Depending on your reason, we offer a smaller plan, a discount or a month's pause. Choose No thanks to move on. The discount can only be taken once per account.
On the last screen, choose Cancel plan to confirm.
When it worked, Plan & billing shows the date your plan ends, with Resume plan next to it.
At the end of the period
Billing stops, with no further charges. Cancelling doesn't refund the rest of the period you've already paid for.
Your Series stop posting, and publishing stops.
Whatever monthly usage you had left ends with the period.
What stays
Everything you've made. Videos already on your YouTube channel stay up, and your Library stays on your account.
Full commercial rights to everything you made.
Usage packs, until they expire. Without a plan you can still make and download videos with them. Publishing to YouTube, Series and agents that make or publish for you need a plan.
Coming back
Before the period ends, choose Resume plan at Settings → Plan & billing and everything carries on as it was. After it ends, choose Resubscribe on the same page and your Library is still there.
If you'd rather take a break than end things, Pause your plan for a month has the shorter option.
