Set up a Series that posts for you

Describe the vibe once, get a channel that posts itself.

A Series posts to your YouTube channel on the days you pick. You tell us the kind of video you want once. We make a fresh one for every posting time and publish it for you. With Auto-publish on, you approve the first video and every post after it goes out on its own.

You need a plan to run a Series. The Starter plan runs 1 Series at a time, the Creator plan 3, and the Pro and Max plans have no limit.

Create a Series

  1. Open Series in the sidebar and choose New series.

  2. Give it a Series name.

  3. In Theme brief, say what the scene looks like and how it should feel. You can also pick one of the Starter presets and change its words.

  4. Choose the Video type. Lite is a still picture with music. Plus is a moving clip with music.

  5. Choose the Audio and how long each video is under Audio duration.

  6. Under Variation, choose how much the Visuals and the Music change each time: Same, Similar or Different.

  7. Pick your Posting days, Time of day, Timezone and the Destination channel.

  8. Under Before each post publishes, choose Auto-publish to post on time, or Manual approval to check each post first.

  9. Choose Create series.

Plus, 1440p and 4K, and high picture quality come with the Creator plan and up.

How much usage it needs

The panel on the side shows how much of your monthly usage the schedule needs. If that's more than your plan gives you, you'll see More than your plan covers. You can buy usage or move up a plan before you create it.

Your first post

We start the first post as soon as you choose Create series, and it uses usage while it's made. It always waits for you, whatever you picked in step 8.

When it's ready, open it from the Series page and look it over in the editor. Then choose Approve and publish. After that, the schedule runs on its own.

You can also start from a project you already like. In the Studio, open its menu and choose Make it a Series.

To see when posts are made and when they go live, read Choose when your Series posts.
